TEA recognized The Academy for the excellent student achievement on the TAKS test in the areas indicated below:

State Accountability Rating
From 2004-2008 The Academy has received an Academically Acceptable rating. This indicates the following:

• Reading/ELA – At least 70% of the tested students pass the test.
• Writing – At least 70% of the tested students pass the test.
• Social Studies – At least 70% of the tested students pass the test.
• Mathematics – At least 55% of the tested students pass the test.
• Science – At least 50% of the tested students pass the test.

Gold Performance Acknowledgement
The Gold Performance Acknowledgment (GPA) system acknowledges districts and campuses for high performance on indicators other than those used to determine accountability ratings.
