Fudia Muhammad
Principal
Mrs. Muhammad has been a regular presence at Texas Empowerment Academy since 2002, assisting in various capacities including the After School Program, Summer Enrichment Camp and Human Development Days.She came on board as a full-time educator at the Middle School campus during the 2008-2009 academic school year. It is her honor to serve as the Principal at the new Elementary School campus in addition to teaching fourth and fifth grade Social Studies.
Mrs. Muhammad received her Master of Education from Concrodia University Texas and Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Austin.
Mrs. Muhammad has been happily married since 1996 and is the mother of three phenomenal children.
De'Asia Green
Administrative Assistant
De’Asia Green is a former Texas Empowerment Academy student. She excelled at the Academy during all three of her middle school years and exhibited leadership potential from the onset. Currently Ms. Green is attending Austin Community College and working as an Administrative Assistant at the elementary campus. She plans to transfer to the University of North Texas to major in Biology in order to fulfill her aspirations of becoming an Anesthesiologist.
Louise 'Ms. Dee' Muhammad
Office Manager
Ms. Dee was born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She moved to Chicago where she has gained a wide range of experience including over 15 years of experience in Management. Fulfilling a childhood dream, she became licensed as a Child Care Provider where she owned and operated her Day Care “IN HIS IMAGE… Child Day Care”
This fall she will be pursuing her BS degree at (AIHT) American Institute of Holistic Theology in Metaphysics.
Lola Shores
Office Clerk
Mrs. Shoreshas had a long standing relationship with Texas Empowerment Arts and Technology Academy. Her grandchildren and children attended Texas Empowerment Academy for many years. Although Mrs. Shores’ children and grandchildren are no longer students, her involvement and association with the academy has continued in a wonderful and new direction as she excitedly begins her second year of employment as the Office Clerk.She is a minister, retired government employee, and is currently attending Texas State University majoring in Criminal Justice. Mrs. Shores is happily married to her husband, Russell, of four years. They have three children and two dogs.
Mrs. Shores loves children and aspires to make a positive difference in the lives of the students at our academy!
