As East Austin’s premiere charter school for middle school students, the Texas Empowerment Academy (The Academy) is now celebrating its 11th year in operation.

Since 1998, The Academy has maintained an award-winning track record of success for students in grades 5 through 9. We offer a highly personal environment combined with small classes and an energetic faculty that values each and every student.
